Our next meeting is Wednesday September 25 at 11:45 at '53 Commons' Paganucci Room. This week, we will have a presentation from Bill Black who will speak on the topic of Ranked Choice Voting. Ranked Choice is already in place in Maine and other states and maybe it will come to NH and/or Vermont....and along with it often comes more moderate candidates and fewer from the far reaches of either party... Come hear what Bill has to say about it!
At our last meeting, we were hosted at Kendal due to our usual meeting room at Dartmouth not being available. A good group heard from John Bayliss, who nearly single handedly distributes durable medical equipment throughout the Upper Valley and sometimes far beyond. He is an inspiring individual, doing great work on a shoestring.
Save the date: October 5. Let's do our part to support the Walk to End Alzheimer's. You'll remember that Kathy Harvard spoke to the club awhile ago and told us about the many advancements in research. THIS YEAR HANOVER ROTARY PLANS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT. Jed Williamson readily agreed to be Team Captain for Rotary. When you go on-line to register, chose Kendal at Hanover for the Team and let's have a great presence of Rotarians on the team! It's an easy morning walk, we can do it. I'm in, are you?
