As noted below, we had no meeting last week… so no announcements! And… as a result, a very short Newsletter.

Emily Bristol hosted a social event at the Brick and Barn Realty in Quechee that your faithful scribe failed to attend… but I DID hear from those who did make it that Emily did a great job of organizing the event and everyone in attendance enjoyed themselves! 
 
COMING ATTRACTIONS
 
May 15 – Julie Stevenson will introduce a quartet from the Hanover High Jazz band
 
May 22 – We’ll hear from Dartmouth’s Daniel Chamberlain, the Associate Librarian for Digital Libraries.
 
May 29 – Heather Drinan will introduce Lee Webster, who will tell us about the green funeral movement.  
 
June 5 - We need a speaker for THIS date and the balance of June! Please share any ideas you have with Tom Csatari, Liam McCarthy, Nan Carroll, or me! 
 
June 12 – Back by popular demand!!! Rubi Simon and the Howe staff will do 30-books-in-30-minutes. Bring your notebook, stopwatch, and a bag to carry home some books to read during the Summer break.
