This is a short bulletin to remind you that there is NO meeting Wednesday June 11 due to Dartmouth needing the Paganucci Room. Hanover Rotary is grateful for all the days we can meet there. 

 

Our next meeting will be the 4th Wednesday of the month, June 25 at 11:45 at '53 Commons.

 

Our speaker on May 28 was one of our regulars, Professor Danny Blanchflower, labor economist and tenured economics professor at Dartmouth (pictured above). Danny continued his talk on the international issue of despair and low well being among the young in 167 countries. He is convening a conference in late October in Hanover with the U.N. to bring together experts to bring about a set of principals to help alleviate the serious mental health issues, which appears to be associated with the rise of internet and smart phone usage. Look for more about this conference.
