There's a lot going on at Hanover Rotary. At last week's meeting, President Kevin Wenger reviewed results from our member survey -- his PowerPoint presentation is being circulated separately: In addition, the following possibilities were suggested as worth exploring:
  • Since our meetings have smaller attendance can we negotiate for more food choices?
  • Consider a breakfast or dinner meeting once a month.
  • Send out more information about what the board does. (Does everybody know that the minutes are posted on ClubRunner?)
  • Do more committee updates in the Bulletin and at meetings.
  • Be specific about volunteer duties – make them short and well defined.
  • Bell Ringing needs more Rotary identification.
  • Does everybody have a hat?
  • Advertise our meetings on the Hanover listserve?
  • Have more small service opportunities since they are easier to organize and provide more public engagement.
THIS WEEK'S MEETING

Our Gala Auction partner this year is the Special Needs Support Center. Our speaker this week is Laura Perez, Executive Director. Laura's baccalaureate education focused on the politics of poverty and community education as a force for social change and her Master’s in Business Administration focused on strategic organizational leadership.

In addition, Jennifer Eastman will be our Featured Rotarian of the Week.

Please, let's have a great attendance for this fun, important meeting! Of course, as always, we're meeting at noon on Wednesday at Jesse's.
