FY 2016 (July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2016) Annual Dues Notice

July 1, 2015

Fellow Rotarian:

The annual dues for the new fiscal year which begins today are $170.00. Given that the Club has obligations to pay quite soon (Rotary International bills the Club immediately upon the commencement of the new fiscal year for the first semi-annual dues payment) I would appreciate receiving your payment for this year’s dues as soon as possible.

The Board of Directors voted November 2005 that all dues are required to be paid within 60 days of the initial billing and that the Treasurer is directed to assess a late charge of $25.00 if membership dues are not paid by August 31. Please save me that unpleasant task.

PLEASE NOTE – If dues are not received within 90 days after the beginning of the fiscal year (September 30), the club will assume that you are withdrawing from membership of the Hanover Rotary Club.  The Club will not continue to pay any dues to Rotary International (and various other Rotary organizations) on your behalf and will remove your name from Club membership.
Amount Due – $170.00

All proceeds go to Hanover Rotary Charities. Deadline for submissions April 1, 2015.

Donation:  We request  $10.00 per guess (individuals are welcome to guess more than once)
Prizes: - The closest guess to the actual time of dunkage, wins a pot of World famous Pierce’s Inn Chili.
            - 2nd place wins a huge medley batch of the wildly popular Pierce’s baked cookies.
            - Alternate prize is Tickets to one of our awesome concerts at Pierce's Inn!!
Rules:   Contestants must send their guesses including the time of day AM or PM and the date along with their name and address and a check payable to “Hanover Rotary Charities” to:
Pierce’s Inn

Entries must be given to Bruce Lingelbach or post marked by April 1, 2015 (unless it looks like the dummy is going to fall in earlier then it closes earlier)
Note* There is limited data from prior years as to when the dummy might fall through ice. But most years there has usually been substantial ice into April. The dummy will be sitting on 4 cinderblocks and the exact time will be recorded by an analog clock which will get unplugged when the dummy goes under.
